Music therapy for emotional awareness, expression, and connection

Young children often don’t have the words, but they do have rhythm, movement, and play. Music therapy offers a developmentally appropriate way to support their social emotional learning (SEL), especially for children ages 3–6.

  • Strengthening connection between parent and child

What Sessions Might Include

  • Hello/goodbye songs and musical routines

  • Emotion-based songs and storytelling

  • Movement and rhythm play

  • Musical games that promote connection and co-regulation
